Rupert Sanderson heels

These retailed for £350 but I got them much cheaper at the sample sale... I was so seduced by the prospect of having these shoes I overlooked they didn't quite fit or that I had nothing to wear them with. Such is the life of a shoe whore. They are a petrol blue with pearlised effect. They have a mini stacked platform under the heel and front of the shoe and a peep toe. They are so unusual and well crafted I can't really describe them - click on the pictures to see more detail.

Size 5/38 - but they are a narrow fit so may also fit a size 37/4.5. Unworn, in box with dust bag.

Summer dress

This chocolate brown dress has an empire line and a racer style back - with two spaghetti straps going to between the shoulder blades. It drops from under the bust to a full dress and has a self belt. I can't believe I managed to get into it when I was full term pregnant - but I did! It is made of cotton jersey and comes to below the knee. Looks great with a hat and flats.

French Connection, Size 6, good second hand condition.

Roller skates

80s style roller skates from Office. Used only two or three times so in excellent condition.

summer heels

These are platform, woven sandals with stacked effect heel - in a dark tan. They have a slingback which is elasticised - no buckle. The heel on one is scuffed - shown. They look great with jeans but never fitted me well, even though I thought they were cool (hence the scuffing).

Size 38/5 from Shelleys.

pale peach dress

I got this dress from Dispensary in Newburgh Street, W1. It recently closed but it used to champion up and coming new designers. This dress is made from a very lightweight fabric with a crinkled effect. It is backless, with very thin ribbon straps from front to back. It is gathered under the bust and has a sort of apron effect with a half sash under the bust that gives way on either side. I don't know what size it is or what the outer fabric is - it is lined with a linen or lose weave cotton. The label only says "ell & cee" with no care instructions or size information. However, I bought it for probably too much money and it looks good. I am a size 8 but I think it would look better on a 10 or 12. If you are busty you would need to put on thicker ribbon straps!

Vintage cheong sam

I bought this from a vintage shop in Barcelona - when I was really, really tiny. It is 1950s or early 1960s and looks to be home made. It is an unusual wool and silk pattern on a mesh back ground. Fully lined with silk. It sits on the knee with short side splits and the usual high neckline. Even when I was a size 6 I used to have to fasten the neck with a broach as it is really small.
Size 6, excellent vintage condition.
