An absolute classic. Knee high patent books with an unmistakable Westwood shape. Olive green leather lining. Some minor scuffing, have been rehealed.

ride em cowgirl

Yes, cowboy boots are coming back (see All Saints who are usually at the forefront of street styles), they are starting to appear in Shoreditch so will be everywhere in a year or two. This pair could tell a tale or two. Well made and very comfy, I got them from a charity shop in LA in the 1990s. The leather is good quality and the soles lots of wear left, however, due to age they need a new in-sole - available from Boots for about £4.

knee high boots

Knee high chocolate brown lace up boots from M&S, have a zip on inside leg and fit can be adjusted using the laces (which do unlace the full length of the boot) and they have a pink suede lining. Hardly worn but one heel has a slight scuff near bottom.

Black and white T-bar heels, heels fairly low (less than 2"). They are patent with a leather T-bar and a white leather ruffle with a brown stacked leather heel. Made by Solea they retailed at over £120. Size 5 (38).

They get lots of comments and are very lovely in an art deco kind of way - but just not very me.

These shoes are mad, I bought them on impulse and just love them but really don't go anywhere to get use out of them - so they must go to make space. This colour and platform are very versatile and trendy. The fringing unique.

This could be very ordinary but the pleating to the back (instead of a split) and PVC piping in side seams make it a sexy number that could go from office to bar.

Pink satin Gucci shoes

Here is a pair of Gucci shoes from the 1990s. They are a size 5 (38). The top and heel is a pale pink satin, the lining pink leather and a high black leather heel makes it edgy and sexy. Comfortable and easy to wear they are really rather gorgeous.

Worn 3 or 4 times there is slight damage to the back of one heel (shown in photo) and a small mark on the top of the pink satin by foot. Come in original box.

linen coat

Summer wedding coming up? Or maybe a light weight coat for work? This has bracelet length sleeves and falls straight to the knee with pockets on front and a single vent on the back. It is double breasted, with large buttons, and fully lined. Made for a heavy weave linen it is pretty warm due to weight of linen and lining. The style is referencing the early 1960s (think MadMen), so looks great with slim fit trousers or a pencil skirt.

Size 8 from Topshop. Around 10 years old but only worn twice, it needs drycleaning as has been in storage.

Vintage 1970s tiered dress

I bought this in a secondhand shop in Paris some years ago (before they were called "vintage"). The straps were frayed so I replaced them with gross grain ribbon. There is some fraying around the zip - but not on any part of the dress that can be seen. It is in good vintage condition.

It is a size 8, sits on the knee and is a great sexy little number for parties and dancing.

ASOS black lace dress

Sits just above the knee, with boat neck and body lined - sleeves unlined. Very fitted (body con) and a flattering style. This style will continue to be popular in the next couple seasons and although ASOS I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the garment.
